- Delete - I agree with Justeditingtoday. Refs are only about the crime and his death sentence. It should be deleted per WP:CRIME. --Rogerx2 (talk) 18:09, 26 April 2017 (UTC)
- Delete non-notable murder covered briefly in local sources, more recently mentioned in connection with the death penalty, but even in that context my search on "Juan Castillo" + "death penalty" turned up false leads like a NYTimes article headlined A Closer Look at Five Cases That Resulted in Executions of Texas Inmates that turned out to include discussion of a different Texas murderer whose father's name is "Juan Castillo."
